A perfect multi cource meal, the best one we had in Siena. Highly recommend going all the way with antipasti, primi and secondi here, each plate was delicious! The terrace was nice with a splendid view! But the best part of our dinner was the service! Our host Victor was the most kind and helpful waitor you can get! He helped us with the all italian menu and made sure our evening was perfect, and it really was! The food was 10/10 but the staff was the star of our dinner! Hope to see Gatto and Victor again asap!

Dropped by for lunch, it’s a little short walk away but the food made the walk worthwhile.Authentic local restaurant with great service, fantastic food and value for money menu. Good house vino as well, would recommend this to anyone visiting Siena.

Very good food. Very basic in terms of comfort. No wifi, phone signal or wine glasses. Inexpensive. A place for locals, it would seem, but nothing to stop you going! Highly recommended.

We have been all over Italy and have eaten a variety of food. I could place this pretty confidently as a top 3 places we’ve been to. The fiorentina steak was perfection. The rabbit pasta was to die for. And wait till you taste the carpaccio. Great atmosphere, great service, simply delicious food with respect for the traditional Italian kitchen. Can’t wait to come back!

We stumbled upon this place after some YouTube trawling to try find a locals local place to eat.If you come to Siena, you have to eat here! The service was incredible! We were looked after by Victor and He was amazing with his suggestions and we felt so looked after. The food was on another planet. Balanced, seasoned and cooked to perfection! If they have the mackeral pasta with bottarga on the menu, DO NOT SKIP!!This will be our first stop every time we come to Siena!

Honestly the best meal i’ve had in Italy, Fiorentina was tender and cooked to perfection. The pici was amzazing as well. If you’re in Siena this is a place you should not skip.

Excellent meal on our first night in Siena. Marco provided a great level of service: not hovering since he was quite busy, but also showing down to explain the Italian-a menu very clearly and patiently. Food was bright with great timing and was absolutely delicious. My wife and I shared two entrees, two appetizers, a liter of great house wine, a dessert, and espressos. The total bill was surprisingly reasonable. Will definitely return at least once during our days in Siena.

T-Bone steak was one of the best meals of my life, aged to perfection and super supple. Veal pasta was a flavour bomb. Staff are friendly.
